MILITARY ACADEMIE  VOJNA AKADEMIJA  Militärakademie

      Austrijske oružane snage školuju svoje oficire na Vojnoj akademiji Marije Terezije, koja je smještena u Bečkom Novom Mjestu (Wiener Neustadt) u Donjoj Austriji. Ova je Akademija najstarija vojna akademija na svijetu. Osnovala ju je Marija Terezija 14. 12. 1751 godine, koja je na njeno čelo postavila Feldmaršala Leopolda Josef Graf Daun, „Grofa Dauna“ uz riječi: „Stvorite mi vrijedne oficire i poštene ljude“ (“Mach er mir tüchtige Officier und rechtschaffene Männer daraus”). Godišnje je akademija primala po stotinu plemića i stotinu pučana. Prva službena Pravila akademije piše 1771. feldmaršal poručnik Hanning, a u štampu ih daje Marija Terezija. Od jedanaest godina, koliko je isprva trajala Akademija, korak po korak je vrijeme studija skraćeno na tri godine.   

      Od 1997. do 2008. studij na Akademiji je trajao četiri godine, a mogli su ga pohađati i civili, koji su završavali sa diplomom vojnog rukovođenja. 2008. godine Akademija prelazi na trogodišnje školovanje, a polaznici koji uspješno završe školovanje dobijaju magistarsku titulu. Prva je žena završila obuku na Akademiji 2003. godine. Od 1959. godine ovdje se školuje i završava više od 3.600 mladih oficira.

      The Theresian Military Academy is an academy, where the Austrian Armed Forces train their officers. The Academy is located in the castle of Wiener Neustadt in Lower Austria. The Theresian Military Academy is the oldest military academy in the world and was founded on 14 December 1751 by Maria Theresa of Austria who gave the first commander of the Academy, Fieldmarshal Leopold Josef Graf Daun (Lord Daun), the order “Mach er mir tüchtige Officier und rechtschaffene Männer daraus” (“Make me hard working officers and honest men”). Per year the Academy accepted 100 noblemen and 100 commoners to start their education there. In 1771 Fieldmarshal Lieutenant Hannig published the official studying plan and in 1775 Maria Theresa published the Academy Rules. At this time it took 11 years to complete the Academy but step by step it was shortened to 3 years.

      From 1997-2008 the TherMilAk was a 4-year college which can also be attended by civilian students and finishes with a masters degree in military leadership. In 2008 it was changed into a 3-year curriculum, graduating with a bachelor's degree. In 2003 the first four women completed the academy. Since 1959 more than 3,600 young officers have been educated at the Theresian Military Academy.

INFANTRY SCHOOL  PJEŠADIJSKA ŠKOLA   Jägerschule

      Od 1963. do 2008. godine, Pješadijska škola (Jägerschule) u Saalfeldenu bila je "srce i dom pješadije". Tokom tog vremena, značka jedinice dodijeljena je mnogim vojnicima.

      From 1963 to 2008, the Infantry School (Jägerschule ) in Saalfelden was the "heart and home of the infantry." During that time, the unit's badge was awarded to many soldiers.

ARMY LOGISTIC SCHOOL  LOGISTIČKA ŠKOLA

      The Army Logistics School is the central training facility for the supply troops of the Austrian Armed Forces. Their staff takes on the training, further training and further education of soldiers and civil servants. The school is located in the Vega-Payer-Weyprecht barracks in Vienna and is divided into: School command, Staff department, Economic Service Institute, Supply Institute, Technical Service Institute and Automotive Engineering Institute.
