Jubilarna medalja „50 godina pobjede u Velikom Domovinskom ratu
1941-1945“ (Юбилейная медаль «50 лет Победы в Великой
Отечественной войне 1941–1945 гг.») je državna spomen medalja
Ruske Federacije kojom se obilježava 50 godina od pobjede nad
nacističkom Njemačkom. Ustanovljena je 07. 07. 1993. godine. Istu
medalju su uvele još i Ukrajina, Kazahstan te Bjelorusija. |
The Jubilee Medal "50 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War
1941–1945" (Юбилейная медаль «50 лет Победы в Великой
Отечественной войне 1941–1945 гг.») is a state commemorative
medal of the Russian Federation created to denote the 50th anniversary
of the 1945 victory over Nazi Germany. It was established on July 7,
1993 by the Law of the Russian Federation № 5336-1. It was also
established in Ukraine, in Kazakhstan and in the republic of Belarus. |

Ova
je medalja izrađena od tombaka, okrugla je i promjer joj je 32 mm. Na
aversu je reljefna slika Kremlja sa Spasovskom kulom i Crkvom Svetog
Vasilija, sve pod vatrometom. Na dnu je reljefno izrađen Orden
otadžbinskog rata na vijencu. Lijevo je ispisana godina 1945, a desno
1995. Revers medalje ima u šest redova ispisano "50 лет
Победы в Великой Отечественной войне" i ispod toga u dva reda
ispisano 1941 i 1945. Uz
rubove medalje, se nalazi vijenac koji se proteže od dna pa preko
polovice visine medalje. |
The Jubilee Medal "50 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War
1941–1945" is a 32mm in diameter tombac circular medal. Its obverse
bears the relief image of the Kremlin wall with the Spasskaya Tower and
Saint Basil's Cathedral, all under fireworks. At the bottom, a relief
image of the Order of the Patriotic War over a laurel wreath, the dates
"1945" on the left, and "1995" on the right of the image of the Order.
On the otherwise plain reverse, the relief inscription in six lines "50
Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945" ("50
лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941–1945"). At center
below the inscription, the dates "1941 – 1945". A laurel wreath
surrounds the reverse inscriptions from the bottom to just over halfway
up along the medal circumference. |
Medalja je alkom pričvršćena na standardni ruski pentagonalni oblik
prekriven svilenom, moariranom trakom širine 24 mm, čija je desna strana
crvene boje, a lijeva polovina je u bojama Lente Svetog Đorđa. |
The medal is suspended by a ring through the award's suspension loop to
a standard Russian pentagonal mount covered with an overlapping 24mm
wide silk moiré ribbon, the right half is red, the left half is the
Ribbon of Saint George. |

Gardijci (гвардия) ili Gardijske jedinice su (гвардейские
части) bile i još uvijek jesu elitne jedinice od carske Rusije,
preko Sovjetskog Saveza do današnje Ruske Federacije. Tradicija seže još
do Kijevske Rusije i njenih družina, strelaca (Стрелецкое Войско) te
moskovskih helebardista, koje je oformio car Ivan Grozni 1550. Značenje
samog termina je variralo kroz vrijeme. |
Sovjetske gardijske jedinice su ustanovljene 18. 09. 1941. Dekretom
Narodnog komesara za obranu i jedinice kojima je ta čast dodijeljena
smatraju se elitnim jedinicama. Oznaka gardijaca je uvedena 21. 05.
1943. Bilo je ukupno 11 gardijskih armija i 6 tenkovskih armija. Oznaka
Gardijske jedinice opstala je i u nekim zemljama nasljednicama
Sovjetskog saveza: Rusiji, Bjelorusiji i Ukrajini. |

Guards (гвардия) or Guards units (гвардейские
части) were and still are elite
military units of Imperial Russia, the Soviet Union and the Russian
Federation. The tradition goes back to the a chieftain's druzhina of
medieval Kievan Rus' and the Marksmen Troops (Стрелецкое Войско), the
Мосцовите харљуебусиерс formed by Ivan
the Terrible by 1550. The exact meaning of the term "Guards" varied over
time. |
The Soviet Guards units were again awarded to units and formations which
distinguishing themselves during the Second World War by the order of
People's Commissar for Defence of USSR No.303 on the 18 September 1941,
and were considered to have elite status. However, the Guards badge was
not introduced until 21 May 1943. There were total 11 Guard Armies and 6
Guard Tank Armies. The Guards distinction was retained as designations
of units and formations in the armed forces of the former Soviet Union:
Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. |
