      The Crescent Moon and Five Stars represent our country and all that she stands for and is central to the logo just as the Navy has at its heart the defence of Singapore.The Anchor epitomises our naval roots and signifies our continued adherence to our naval values which are our foundation.The Lion represents courage, nobility and sovereignty which symbolises the nation and how the RSN will act in defence of Singapore. The Tiger represents fierce determination and aggressive deterrence in how the RSN will carry out our duty of protecting our nation.The Laurels are the hallmark of excellence that reflects the professionalism and dedication that goes into the making of the RSN.

The NAVAL DIVING UNIT   MORNARIČKA RONILAČKA JEDINICA

      Mornarička ronilačka jedinica (NDU) pomorska je jedinica specijalnih snaga mornarice Republike Singapur i sastavni je dio Operativne grupe za posebne operacije oružanih snaga Singapura. Postrojba redovito ima zadatke spašavanja, podvodnog razminiravanja, morskig komandosa i podvodnog ratovanja. Služi kao pomorski pandan formaciji Komandosa zapovjednika oružanih snaga Singapura.

      Jedinica je osposobljena za djelovanje u uvjetima padobranskog, podvodnog i kopnenog ratovanja, što je čini jedinicom sposobnom za izravno djelovanje i prikrivene misije unutar neprijateljskog teritorija, kao i za operacije spašavanja talaca na moru. Veličina jedinice i detalji njihovih misija klasificirani su zbog njihove osjetljive prirode. Obično se smatra najprestižnijom jedinicom u cijeloj vojsci, a često se opisuje kao singapurski ekvivalent mornaričkim komandosima američke mornarice (Navy Seals) i Specijalnoj brodskoj službi Kraljevske mornarice (Special Boat Service of the Royal Navy).

      The Naval Diving Unit (NDU) is the maritime special forces unit of the Republic of Singapore Navy, and is a component of the Special Operations Task Force of the Singapore Armed Forces. The unit is regularly tasked with salvage operations, underwater ordnance disposal, marine commando, and frogman warfare. It serves as the naval counterpart to the Singapore Armed Forces Commando Formation.

      The unit is trained in airborne, underwater, and land warfare capabilities, making it a unit capable of direct action and covert missions within hostile territory, as well as maritime hostage rescue operations. The size of the unit and the details of their missions are kept classified due to their sensitive nature. It is commonly regarded as the most prestigious unit in the entire military,[citation needed] and is often described as Singapore's equivalent to the Navy SEALs of the United States Navy and the Special Boat Service of the Royal Navy.

DIVERS BADGES   RONILAČKE OZNAKE

      Lav i Tigar, koji predstavljaju naciju, uokviruju tradicionalni ronilački skafander i pokazuju da su jedina jedinica unutar Singapurskih oružanih snaga, specijalizirana za ronjenje. Skafander predstavlja snagu, odlučnost, agresivnost i borbeni duh ronilaca. Valovi simboliziraju temeljnu pomorsku tradiciju i ističu neumoljivi duh posebne vrste ljudi sa stavom „Ništa nam ne stoji na putu“.

      The Lion and Tiger, which represent the Nation, frame the traditional Diver's hard hat and show that they are the only SAF unit that specialises in Diving. The hard hat represents strenght, determination, aggressiveness and fighting spirit of the divers. The waves symbolise the underpinning naval tradition and highlight the relentless spirit of the special breed of men with a „Nothing Stands in Our Way“ attitude.
