REPUBLIC of SINGAPORE AIR FORCE  ZRAČNE SNAGE REPUBLIKE SINGAPUR

Oznaka ratnog zrakoplovstva Republike Singapur (RSAF) predstavlja sveprisutnu ulogu u obrani zemlje.

The RSAF crest has come to symbolise the all-encompassing role air defence plays in Singapore's national security. It consists of the National Coat of Arms - a crescent moon and five stars upheld by a lion and a tiger - supported by the silver wings of the Air Force within a bowl of golden laurels. The national banner of a young nation - symbolised by the crescent moon - is Equality, Peace, Progress, Democracy and Justice, as represented by the five stars. The banner flies high on the RSAF silver wings as it stands proud on a plane of laurels, a mark of excellence, purity and universal brotherhood.

TENGAN AIR BASE ZRAKOPLOVNA BAZA TENGAN

Tenganov moto "Uvijek spremni" simbolizira šahovska figura crnog konja (crnog viteza).

Tengah's motto, Always Vigilant, supports its main motif, a chess board Black Knight piece symbolic of the aircraft's operational readiness in Tengah. The sword represents war's heraldic sword of destruction, while the state is depicted by the castle. Constructed in 1932 by the British to give air cover to the naval base in Sembawang and commissioned RAF Tengah in 1939, the Air Base was constantly improved upon to prepare it for the increasingly sophisticated aircraft that was coming in. It was renamed Tengah Air Base in 1971 when it was handed over to the Singapore Air Defence Command (SADC). And from 1971 to 1976, under the Five Power Defence Arrangement, Tengah became home to the British, Australian and New Zealand forces. Currently, Tengah houses the RSAF's F16 Fighting Falcons, E2C Hawkeyes and A4SU Super Skyhawks.

The flying squadrons are supported by: Air Logistics Squadron (ALS) The Air Logistics Squadron services, maintains and repairs on-ground systems required for air operations. Tengah's ALS motif consists of a woodpecker pecking the worms out of a tree. Like the woodpecker, the ALS detects the "worms" and ferrets them out. The squadron's motto is Strive to Resolve.

PAYA LEBAR AIR BASE ZRAKOPLOVNA BAZA PAYA LEBAR

"Snagom do spremnosti" je maksima Paya Lebar baze. Lovački avion u uzletu simbolizira spremnost baze i progresivnost naroda. Stegnuta šaka predstavlja jednodušnost, snagu i hrabrost u avio operacijama.

With "Strength Through Readiness" as its maxim, Paya Lebar's logo portrays a modern, dynamic airbase. The soaring fighter plane signifies the base's readiness and its people's progressive outlook. The clenched fist represents single-mindedness, strength and courage with a mastery of air operations. Teamwork is represented by the band around the wrist while the two lightning bolts show the airbase's operations and support role. Starting off as the civilian Paya Lebar International Airport in 1955, it was rechristened Paya Lebar Air Base 12 years later with an Air Movement Centre that handles passengers and cargo arriving on RSAF flights, MINDEF charter flights and foreign military aircraft. Converted to military use in 1981, it currently houses the C130 Hercules and the F5 Tiger IIs.

141st SQUADRON 141.

141st Squadron Formed in 1972, the 141 Squadron operates the F5 and RF5 reconnaissance aircraft, which brings photo reports of targets to the commanders and pilots. The squadron goes by the motto, Detect To Deter.
