FIRST ARMY    PRVA ARMIJA    1η Στρατιά

      Grčka prva armija (1η Στρατιά, Proti Stratia), je najviša formacija helenske vojske i njena jedina postojeća terenska armija. Prva armija osnovana je u 03. mjesecu 1947., tokom Grčkog građanskog rata. Nadzirala je II i III korpus, sa štabom u Volosu. Ukinuta je 10. 02. 1948., a ponovno uspostavljena 1951. sa sjedištem u Larissi, gdje je i danas. Komandant Prve armije uvijek je general-pukovnik. Prva armija (1η Στρατιά), sa sjedištem u Larissi, Tesalija uključuje: IV armijski korpus (Δ' Σώμα Στρατού - Δ' ΣΣ), sa sjedištem u Xantiju, Trakija, I. pješadijsku diviziju (I ΜΠ), sa sjedištem u Veroii, Makedonija i II. mehaniziranu pješadijsku diviziju (II Μ/Κ ΜΠ), sa sjedištem u Edessi, Makedonija.

      The Greek First Army (1η Στρατιά, Proti Stratia), is the highest formation of the Hellenic Army and its only existant field army. The First Army was created in March 1947, during the Greek Civil War. It controlled the II and III Corps, with Volos as its headquarters. It was abolished on 10 February 1948, and re-established in 1951 with its HQ at Larissa, where it remains to this day. Its CO is always a lieutenant general.First Army (1η Στρατιά), based at Larissa, Thessaly includes: IV Army Corps (Δ' Σώμα Στρατού - Δ' ΣΣ), based at Xanthi, Thrace, I Infantry Division (I ΜΠ), based at Veroia, Macedonia and II Mechanised Infantry Division (II Μ/Κ ΜΠ), based at Edessa, Macedonia.

FORTH ARMY CORPS    ČETVRTI ARMIJSKI KORPUS Δ΄ Σώμα Στρατού

      IV armijski korpus "Trakija" (Δ΄ Σώμα Στρατού «Θράκη», skr. Δ΄ ΣΣ) je armijski korpus Helenske vojske. Osnovan prije Prvog svjetskog rata, služio je u svim sukobima u kojima je Grčka sudjelovala do njemačke invazije na Grčku 1941. Ponovno uspostavljen 1976., čuvao je grčko-tursku kopnenu granicu duž rijeke Evros i najmoćnija je formacija u helenskoj vojsci.

      The IV Army Corps "Thrace" (Δ΄ Σώμα Στρατού «Θράκη», abbr. Δ΄ ΣΣ) is an army corps of the Hellenic Army. Established before the First World War, it served in all conflicts Greece participated in until the German invasion of Greece in 1941. Re-established in 1976, it has been guarding the Greco-Turkish land border along the Evros River, and is the most powerful formation in the Hellenic Army.

      Na plavom štitu koji simbolizira grčko nebo i more, postavljene su dvije kacige i mač, kao najreprezentativniji dijelovi vojne uniforme ratnika Aleksandra Makedonskog. Ručka mača položena je na svijetli disk izlazećeg sunca, okruženog dugom. Kombinacija duge (simbol mira, optimizma i nade) i drška mača na izlazećem suncu, simbolizira svrhu kampanje Aleksandra Makedonskog na širenje grčke kulture i civilizacije na Istok.

      On the blue shield that symbolizes the Greek sky and sea, two helmets and a sword are placed, as the most representative parts of the military uniform of the warrior Alexander the Great. The hilt of the sword rests on the bright disc of the rising sun, surrounded by a rainbow. The combination of a rainbow (a symbol of peace, optimism and hope) and a sword handle in the rising sun symbolizes the purpose of Alexander the Great's campaign to spread Greek culture and civilization to the East.

      Korpus se sastoji od korpusnog štabnog bataljona, 1. Artiljerijskog puka-MLRS, 1. puk za komunikaciju, elektroničko ratovanje i motrenje, Komanda artiljerijske protivavionske odbrane, Komande i jedinica inženjerije korpusa, 12. mehanizirane pješadijske divizije, 16. mehanizirane pješadijske divizije, 20. oklopne divizije, 50. mehanizirane pješadijske brigade i 29. mehanizirane pješadijske brigade.

      The Corps consists of Corps HQ Battalion, 1st Artillery Regiment-MLRS, 1st Communications, Electronic warfare and Surveillance Regiment, Corps Field and Air Defense Artillery Command and units, Corps Engineer Command and units, 12th Mechanized Infantry Division, 16th Mechanized Infantry Division, 20h Armored Division, 50th Mechanized Infantry Brigade and 29th Mechanized Infantry Brigade.

ΧΙΙ Μηχανοκίνητη Μεραρχία Πεζικού "ΕΒΡΟΣ"

      12. mehanizirana pješadijska divizija "Evros" (ΧΙΙ Μηχανοκίνητη Μεραρχία Πεζικού «ΕΒΡΟΣ» Dodekati Mihanokiniti Merarhia Pezikou «EVROS») je vojna formacija Helenske vojske sa sjedištem u Aleksandru upoli, Trakija. Divizija se sastoji od štabne čete, 3. oklopno-konjičke baterije, 12. bataljona za podršku, 12. čete veze, 966. čete vojne policije, taktičke komande/41. pješačke pukovnije, komande divizijske artiljerije, 7. mehanizirane pješadijske brigade "Sarantaporos" i 31. mehanizirane pješadijske brigade "Kamia ".

      The 12th Mechanized Infantry Division "Evros" (ΧΙΙ Μηχανοκίνητη Μεραρχία Πεζικού «ΕΒΡΟΣ» Dodekati Mihanokiniti Merarhia Pezikou «EVROS») is a military formation of the Hellenic Army, based at Alexandroupoli, Thrace. The Division consist from HQ Company, 3rd Armoured Cavalry Squadron, 12th Support Battalion, 12th Signal Company, 966th Military Police Company, Tactical Command/41st Infantry Regiment, Division Artillery Command, 7th Mechanized Infantry Brigade "Sarantaporos" and 31st Mechanized Infantry Brigade "Kamia".

      Amblem divizije prikazuje dva pijetla koji se sučeljavaju. Ona i divizijski moto, Έως αν τον ετέρον προπεσείν (Eos an ton eteron propesin; "Dok jedan od njih ne padne") inspirirani su citatom povjesničara Polibija, koji opisuje Rimljane i Kartažane u Prvom punskom ratu: "Možemo usporediti duh obje države s duhom divljih pijetlova uključenih u smrtonosnu borbu. Jer često vidimo da kada ove ptice izgube krila od iscrpljenosti, njihova hrabrost ostaje visoka kao i uvijek i nastavljaju zadavati udarac za udarcem, dok se nehotice ne zbliže, smrtonosno se zgrabe jedno za drugog, i čim se to dogodi, jedan ili drugi od njih dvojice uskoro će pasti mrtav."

      The division's emblem depicts two roosters confronting each other. It and the divisional motto, Έως αν τον ετέρον προπεσείν (Eos an ton eteron propesin; "Until one of them falls") are inspired by a quote of the historian Polybius, describing the Romans and Carthaginians during the First Punic War: "We may compare the spirit displayed by both states to that of game cocks engaged in a death-struggle. For we often see that when these birds have lost the use of their wings from exhaustion, their courage remains as high as ever and they continue to strike blow upon blow, until closing involuntarily they get a deadly hold of each other, and as soon as this happens one or the other of the two will soon fall dead."

20th ARMORED DIVISION     20. OKLOPNA DIVIZIJA

20ή τεθωρακισμένη μεραρχία «μακεδονία

      20th Armoured Division  "Makedonija" (20ή τεθωρακισμένη μεραρχία «μακεδονία» ikosti tethorakimeni merarhia «makedonia», abbrev. XX ΤΘΜ) iz HellAlter -a) iz Hellcal -a) u Helquall -u) u glavalskom vojsku. To je jedina oklopna divizija kopnene vojske. Struktura u 2016. je bila: divizijska štabna četa (ΙΣ/ΧΧ ΤΘΜ), 20. četa veze (20ο ΛΔΒ), 955. četa vojne policije (ΛΣΤ), komanda divizijske artiljerije (ΔΠΒ/ΧΧ ΤΘΜ), 21. oklopna brigada, 23. oklopna brigada i 25. oklopna brigada.

      The 20th Armoured Division "Macedonia" (20ή Τεθωρακισμένη Μεραρχία «Μακεδονία» Ikosti Tethorakimeni Merarhia «MAKEDONIA», abbrev. XX ΤΘΜ) of the Hellenic Army is headquartered in Kavala, Macedonia. It is the Army's only armoured division. Structure in 2016 was: Division HQ Company (ΙΣ/ΧΧ ΤΘΜ), 20th Signal Company (20ο ΛΔΒ), 955th Military Police Company (ΛΣΤ), Division Artillery Command (ΔΠΒ/ΧΧ ΤΘΜ), 21st Armoured Brigade,  23rd Armoured Brigade and 25th Armoured Brigade.

25th ARMOURED BRIGADE    25. OKLOPNA BRIGADA  XXV Τεθωρακισμένη Ταξιαρχία

      25. oklopna brigada "2. konjički puk - Efez" (XXV Τεθωρακισμένη Ταξιαρχία «2ο ΣΙ - Έφεσσος») je oklopna brigada Helenske vojske. Početkomu 2001. brigada je dobila počasni naziv "2. konjička pukovnija - Efez" u čast povijesne 2. konjičke pukovnije, koja se istakla tokom Grčko-turskog rata 1919.-1922.

      The 25th Armoured Brigade "2nd Cavalry Regiment - Ephesus" (Greek: XXV Τεθωρακισμένη Ταξιαρχία «2ο ΣΙ - Έφεσσος») is an armoured brigade of the Hellenic Army. In January 2001, the brigade received the honorific designation "2nd Cavalry Regiment - Ephesus" in honour of the historic 2nd Cavalry Regiment, which distinguished itself during the Greco-Turkish War of 1919–1922.

      Na štitu je prikazan legendarni mitološki grčki kralj Tezej, sin Egejev, kako prema mitu podiže kamen ispod kojeg je njegov otac ostavio svoje zlatne sandale i mač. Kreće prema Ateni i nakon nebrojenih prepreka uspijeva doći do Atene i preuzeti vlast. Sve to simbolizira sposobnost ASDYS-a da preuzme odgovornost i iskoristi raspoloživa sredstva da bi uspješno ispunili svoju misiju. 

      The shield depicts the legendary mythological Greek king Theseus, son of Aegeus, lifting the stone under which his father left his golden sandals and sword, according to myth. He heads towards Athens and after countless obstacles he manages to reach Athens and take over power. All this symbolizes the ability of ASDYS to take responsibility and use available resources to successfully fulfill their mission.

      Glavna komanda podrške (Ανώτατη Στρατιωτική Διοίκηση Υποστήριξης Στρατού, ΑΣΔΥΣ) je vojna komanda Kopnene vojske na nivou korpusa koja osigurava podršku za svoje formacije i jedinice. U njenom se sastavu nalaze Osnovna komanda podrške, divizija podrške, strateška transportna jedinica, 651 materijalno skladište KoV-a, komanda vojnih tvornica, 4 pješadijska divizija i vojne bolnice. Komanda je smještena u Ateni.

      The Supreme Military Support Command (Ανώτατη Στρατιωτική Διοίκηση Υποστήριξης Στρατού, ΑΣΔΥΣ) is a corps-level military command of the Hellenic Army that provides support for its formations and units. In Command structure are Base Support Command, Support Division, Strategic Transport Unit, 651 Army Material Depot, Military Factories Command, 4th Infantry Division and Military hospitals.

GUARD DOG TRAINNING CENTRE    CENTAR ZA OBUKU PASA ČUVARA

      Centar za obuku pasa čuvara, osnovan 1989. godine, podređen je Grčkoj komandi za obuku. Zadaća im je omogućiti teoretske i praktične treninge podoficira Grčke avijacije i ostalih grana Oružanih snaga. Istovremeno se provodi i obuka pasa koji će se koristiti u zaštiti vojnih objekata. U Centru se provodi i osnovna i napredna veterinarska briga za pse koje koriste Avijacija, Kopnena vojska, Obalna straža, Policija i Ministarstvo financija.

      The Guard Dog Training Center established in 1989 located in Koropi, is subordinate to the Hellenic Air Training Command. The Guard Training Center’s mission is to provide theoretical and practical training to NCO’s of the Hellenic Air Force or other Branches of Armed Forces in the duties of Guards and Military Dog Trainers with parallel training provided to Military Dogs, in order to be used for the improvement of the security of Air Bases, Military Areas and generally Military facilities and means. In addition, it is responsible for providing primary and secondary veterinary care to the Military Dogs of the Hellenic Air Force Units, as well as to the Dogs of the Fire and Coast Guard, the Greek Police and the Ministry of Finance.

      Moto Centra za obuku pasa čuvara je ispisan na njihovom znaku i prevedn glasi: „Kada se moraš suočiti sa neprijateljem, morate ga pobijediti ilo koji način (Χρή δε πάν έρδοντα μαυρώσαι τον εχθρόν).

      Unit motto written on Guard Dog Training Center “Χρή δε πάν έρδοντα μαυρώσαι τον εχθρόν” means: "When you have to face your enemy, you have to beat him by whatever means2.
