Taktički znak prepoznavanja (Tactical Recognition Flash TRF) je oznaka za rukav borbene uniforme i koriste je pripadnici sva tri roda vojske, kao i neke armije Commonwealtha. Nosi se jer u borbenoj uniformi nedostaje oznaka za kapu. Slične su Oznakama iskakanja (Drop Zone Flashes) koje koriste padobranske jedinice. Pripadnici regimente ili korpusa ove oznake nose na desnom rukavu dok su na lijevom oznake formacija (obično, brigade, divizije ili više komande).

      A Tactical Recognition Flash (TRF) is a coloured patch worn on the arm of combat clothing by members of the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force as well as a number of other Commonwealth militaries to distinguish their Regiment or Corps in the absence of a cap badges. It is similar to but distinct from the DZ Flashes worn by members of Airborne Forces. The colours of the TRF are sometimes derived from the unit's stable belt. TRFs should not be confused with formation signs or insignia, which are used to denote the formation (usually brigade or division or a higher headquarters) and are worn in addition to TRFs by a member of any regiment or corps serving in that formation.

DROP ZONE FLASH  OZNAKA ZONE ISKAKANJA

      Oznaka „zone iskakanja“ je značka ili platnena oznaka koju nose pripadnici padobranskih snaga Britanske kopnene vojske i svih eskadrona Regimente Kraljevskih zračnih snaga. Kod pripadnika RAF-ov regimente postoje oznake za sve eskadrone i ako je samo II eskadron pravi padobranski.

      A DZ Flash is a badge or patch worn by the Airborne forces of the British Army and all squadrons of the Raf Regiment. DZ stands for „drop zone“. In RAF Regiment use, these flashes distinguish between squadrons, although within the RAF Regiment only II Squadron has a parachute capability.
