Provođenje zakona u Turskoj vrši nekoliko odjela i agencija, a sve djeluju pod Ministarstvom unutarnjih poslova osim vojne policije koja je pod komandom Turskih oružanih snaga i Nacionalne obavještajne organizacije koja je direktno odgovorna predsjedniku. Među ostalim agencijama su: Glavna uprava za sigurnost (Emniyet Genel Müdürlüğü); Glavna komanda žandarmerije (Jandarma Genel Komutanlığı); Komanda obalne straže (Sahil Güvenlik Komutanlığı); Vojna policija (Askeri İnzibat); Nacionalna obavještajna organizacija (Milli İstihbarat Teşkilatı ili MİT); Komunalna policija (Belediye zabıtası); Seoske straže (Köy Koruyucusu) i druge organizacije.

      Law enforcement in Turkey is carried out by several departments and agencies, all acting under the Ministry of Internal Affairs except military police which is under the command of the Turkish Armed Forces and the National Intelligence Organization which directly reports to the president. Among other agencies are: the General Directorate of Security (Emniyet Genel Müdürlüğü); the Gendarmerie General Command (Jandarma Genel Komutanlığı); The Coast Guard Command (Sahil Güvenlik Komutanlığı); Military Police (Askeri İnzibat); the National Intelligence Organization (Milli İstihbarat Teşkilatı, or MİT); Municipal police (Belediye zabıtası); Village guards (Köy Koruyucusu) and others.
