"Izumitelj" marke Simborg bio je David Jonason, dugogodišnji sportski
menadžer u Dagens Nyheteru. Ujutro 14. 05. 1934. sazvao je sastanak s
nizom važnih ljudi. David Jonason je rekao da svaki dan u novinama čita
o nesrećama utapanja, te da je u obavijesti gotovo uvijek pisalo da je
osoba koja se utopila poznata kao dobar plivač. DN je sada želio
smanjiti broj nesreća utapanja. To je, na primjer, navođenje ljudi da
provjeravaju svoje plivačke vještine svake godine putem testa plivanja
od, recimo, 200 metara bez vremena. Prijedlog je pozitivno primljen i
osnovan je Simborgarmarkt. |
The "inventor" of the Simborg brand was David Jonason, sports manager
for many years at Dagens Nyheter. On the morning of May 14, 1934, he
called a meeting with a number of important people. David Jonason said
that he read about drowning accidents in the newspapers every day, and
that the notice almost always said that the person who drowned was known
as a good swimmer. DN now wanted to reduce the number of drowning
accidents. This is, for example, by getting people to check their
swimming skills every year through a swimming test of, say, 200 meters
without a time. The proposal was received positively, and the
Simborgarmarkt was established. |

The first year the badge was midnight blue. The years after colors were
emerald green, ruby
red
and orange. These colors then reappeared in four-year periods until the
early 1960s when the colors became new each year.
The swimming brand is jointly owned by the Swedish Swimming Association
and the Swedish Lifesaving Society. |

Značka za plivanje je klasična značka, koju se svake godine izrađuje u
drugoj boji. Uz njih postoje i jubilarne značke, za plivače koji u
takmičenjima učestvuju više godina. Ove jubilarne značke su istog oblika
i izgleda kao i „obične“ takmičarske, samo je u njihovom donjem dijelu
mali dodatak sa brojem godina. Dodjeljuju se za 5, 10, 25, 40 ili 50
godina učestvovanja u ovim takmičenjima. Za dodjelu plivačke značke
učesnik mora, u bilo kojem od stilova, preplivati dvije stotine metara
u dubokoj vodi. |

The swimming badge is a classic badge, which is made in a different
color every year. Along with them, there are jubilee badges for swimmers
who have participated in competitions for several years. These jubilee
badges have the same shape and appearance as "ordinary" competition
badges, only in their lower part is a small addition with the number of
years. They are awarded for 5, 10, 25, 40 or 50 years of participation
in these competitions. To be awarded a swimming badge, a participant
must, in any of the styles, swim two hundred meters in deep water.

m leđno u dubokoj vodi. Obučen u odjeću dugih rukava i hlačama dugih
nogavica mora plutati na vodi 1 minutu i 30 sekundi. Zatim slijedi 2
minute ili 50 metara plivanja. Uzdužno se roni 8 metara. Duboko ronjenje
2 puta s površine do 1,5 metara. Poznavanje točaka 1-6 za spašavanje
života i vožnje čamcem. Mora pomoći jednoj osobi u potrebi s ispruženom
rukom. Bacanje koluta za spašavanje s konopom s obale do osobe u vodi.
Izvlačenje pojasa za spašavanje i plivanje s pojasom za spašavanje 10
metara. Biti u stanju pružiti umjetno disanje usta na usta. Za invalide
ronjenje na veliku daljinu može se skratiti. |

Kandidat treba isplivati 600 metara slobodno prsno u dubokoj vodi potom
plivati 300 metara leđno u dubokoj vodi. Mora plutati 3 minute ili 75
metara. Potom pluta u odjeći dugih rukava i nogavica 2 minute ili 50 m.
Uzdužno ronjenje 10 m. Duboko ronjenje se testira uronom do 2 m dubine i
to jednom s obale ili ruba bazena te jednom s površine. Potrebno je i
zaroniti jednom s visine od najmanje 1 m. |
Spašavanje života se testira plivanjem 16 m s pojasom za spašavanje
nakon čega slijedi doskok uz pomoć pojasa za spašavanje uz maksimalno
vrijeme 2 minute i 45 sekundi. Poznavanje točaka od 1 do 11 u plivanju i
vožnji čamcem. Slijedi plivanje sa pojasom za spašavanje 25 m. Kandidat
mora znati pristupiti osobi u nevolji s ispruženom rukom. |

ispravno pomoći unesrećenoj osobi. Učenik mora plivati

metara bilo kojim stilom plivanja nakon čega slijedi 50 metara plivanja
s kolutom za spašavanje i potom slijedi 50 metara vuče osobe iste
veličine u pojasu za spašavanje. Maksimalno vrijeme 8 minuta. Započninje
sa 25 metara plivanja s pojasom za spašavanje, nakon čega slijedi
podizanje lutke za spašavanje ili osobe iste veličine s dubine od 3 do 4
metra, nakon čega slijedi 25 metara vučenja osobe u pojasu za
spašavanje. Maksimalno vrijeme 1 minuta 50 sekundi. U slučaju bazena

followed by 25 meters of towing a friend in a lifebuoy. Maximum time for
that is a 1 minute 50 seconds. In the case of a pool shallower than the
specified depth, the take-up must be preceded by a 5-meter longitudinal
dive. Follow reception of a person at the edge of the pool, jetty or
beach. Know mouth-to-mouth breathing, alarm routines and stable lateral
position. |
